Test Sockets:
PFTINC© uses a combination of design techniques - including spring-loaded probe contacts, a floating base, and package specific inserts - to gently guide DUT package contacts into position while socket contacts and other mechanical seating devices adjust and follow. This prevents damage to the IC package during manual or automated actuation, and ensures that contact force is distributed.
PFTINC© product is a scalable family of test sockets for high performance, area-array applications. Designed around very high performance probe technology, the PFTINC© family of test sockets meets the needs for a variety of pitch requirements, including 1.27mm, 1.0mm, 0.8mm, 0.65 and 0.45mm.
